IF YOU WISH TO PARTICIPATE IN REWARD CARD SUPERSCAN YOU MUST BE PREPARED TO BE ASKED BY A SUPERQUINN MEMBER OF STAFF TO SUBMIT PART OR ALL OF YOUR SHOPPING ITEMS FOR RE-SCANNING AT ANY TIME AND TO COMPLY WITH THIS TYPE OF REQUEST. SUPERQUINN NEEDS TO HAVE A RE-SCAN POLICY IN PLACE TO PREVENT SUPERSCAN BEING ABUSED AND THANKS ALL OUR CUSTOMERS FOR THEIR COOPERATION.
1. The instructions for use located in the steps 1-4 above form part of the Reward Card SuperScan terms and conditions. 2. Customers availing of the Reward Card SuperScan service will be deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions. 3. All users must be over 18 years of age and resident in the Republic of Ireland. 4. The Reward Card SuperScan service is only available to Superquinn Reward Card customers. To become a Reward Card customer pick up an instant Reward Card from any Superquinn store and follow the simple registration steps. Note; it will take up to 48 hours after registration to be able to use the Reward Card SuperScan service. The Reward Card Team can be contacted on LoCall 1850 444 488 or log onto www.Superquinn.ie/rewards. 5. The Superquinn store in which you first register to use Reward Card SuperScan will become your registered store. You are also registered to use Reward Card SuperScan in any other Superquinn store that you have shopped in over the previous 12 weeks. However, if you experience any difficulties please speak to a Superquinn colleague on duty. 6. Superquinn reserves the right with or without cause or reason to re-scan part or all of a customers’ shopping. You may be selected randomly for re-scanning by the Reward Card SuperScan computer system. Customers are always required to pay the total amount displayed on the check-out till. Where re-scanning has occurred, customers are required to pay the total amount displayed on the check-out till after re-scanning has been completed. 7. Bill adjustments: Some promotions such as “Buy one get one free offers” do not show at their discounted price on the Reward Card SuperScan handheld scanner as you shop. Promotional offers are then calculated by the check-out operator at the end of your shopping trip and your total bill will be adjusted to reflect all discounts. 8. Exclusions: due to legal or other restrictions the following items are excluded from Reward SuperScan use: tobacco products, pharmaceutical products, phone cards, lottery tickets, bin tags, postal stamps, vending machine purchases, or purchases of Superquinn Gift Vouchers or saving stamps. Other products may be excluded at the discretion of Superquinn or by operation of law. 9. Superquinn reserves the right to vary, suspend or terminate this service or amend these terms and conditions at any time for any technical or commercial reason. Superquinn may also revoke your right to avail of the Reward Card SuperScan service or take any other action which it deems appropriate where it considers that you may not comply or have complied with these Terms and Conditions and the general rules of Superquinn and its relevant stores. 10. By availing of the Reward Card SuperScan service, you consentto the SuperScan terms & conditions and are aware that rescans may happen. By availing of the Reward Card SuperScan service, you also agree that Superquinn may hold and process the results of any scanning or re-scanning exercise for the purposes of monitoring customer’s compliance with (i) the Terms and Conditions of this Reward Card
SuperScan service, (ii) Superquinn’s rules generally and (iii) the law and for the purposes of enabling Superquinn to select customers for further re-scanning and to monitor and oversee the scheme generally. 11. The following stores are not set up with the Reward Card SuperScan service; Finglas, Northside, Charlesland, Tyrrelstown, Rathborne, Ranelagh, HSQ and Rathgar. 12. To company with Data Protection Legislation, Reward Card SuperScan data records are not held in-store and will not be visible to any store colleague or 3rd party. Should a customer require a copy of their record, they may request a copy by writing to the Customer Care Team and making a request under the Data Protection Act 1998 & 2003. 13. Complaints Process: Due to Data Protection Legislation any complaints should follow the usual complaints process by contacting the Superquinn Customer Care Line on 1850-444488 or in writing to The Superquinn Customer Care Team, Superquinn, Support Office, Newcastle Road, Lucan, Co. Dublin.
