These cheesy pizza wedges make a great alternative to sandwiches
and can be eaten hot or cold as part of a packed lunch or picnic.
Ingredients
450g packet pizza base mix
5 tbsp burger relish
180g can tuna chunks in spring water, drained
215g can sweetcorn, drained
125g grated mozzarella cheese
1 tsp dried oregano
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400° F, 200° C, Gas 6. Make up the pizza base mix according to the packet instructions. On a well floured surface, roll out the dough to a 25 cm circle.
Scatter 4 tbsp of the mozzarella around the outside edge of the dough and turn the edge over to make a cheesy crust.
Spread the base with the relish and scatter over the tuna chunks and sweetcorn. Sprinkle over the remaining cheese and herbs and bake for 12-15 minutes until crust is crisp and topping is golden. Cut into slices and serve hot or cold.
Cook’s Tips
Adding a handful of chopped, diced mixed peppers, a few pineapple chunks or slices of fresh tomato is a good way to add additional fruit and vegetables to this recipe and help ensure your children get their 5 a day.
